Default Car Crash this morning...

On the motorway this morning and I see the cars infront brake hard so I do too and manage to stop then i look in my mirror and see a punto coming up behind fast. She brakes but not enough and crashes into the back of the escort ... Luckily I steered right to avoid an A4 infront so i ended up on the centre grass.

Been to hospital because my back/neck is hurting (genuinly). So now just waiting for some guys to come and assess the car and give us a courtesy car.

I drove it home about 15 miles. It doesnt look too bad but its probably going to be a write off.... the boot wont shut without bending the rear panel out a lot and to boot floor is all buckled. The rear panel is all pushed in too. Leaving a gap all around the boot seal.

Highways Agency were really helpfull and he even taped my bumper to the rear wing for me because it was sticking out

At least it wasnt more serious and im not majourly injured and still alive

Escorts are deffo tougher than a punto, you should of seen the state of hers compared to mine! Scary.

It'll be a write off for sure. Main thing is you're ok.

all modern cars look terrible on frontal impacts even at slow speeds, how they designed, nothing to do with their crash protection abilities

What a dick .. We had someone crash into the back of my Mrs Golf the night before I flew to Afghan , is just a total pain in the arse, and even at 10Mph it hurt my neck for a few days after.

Why can't people watch more than one car infront? .. Least you are ok mate, buy the car back for pennies and sell it on, should be a fairly easy repair for someone. What car you having next then?
