Quick question,
I have a MK1 MX5 (Jap import, Eunos Roadster 1989 G-Reg), and there are 3 blank switches just to the right of the steering column. All 3 are wired in behind with 3 different types of plug.
Anyone know what they're for?
I don't like having things missing, lol.
Cheers

iirc [and it is only recollection!] 1 is for adjusting the pitch of the headlights [there should be a button in the centre of the dash which flips them up WITHOUT the lights on, to help you change the bulbs] and 1 is for a heated back screen when you have a hard top. FUCK knows what the third is MEANT for as I've only ever seen it used for an immobiliser/alarm light.

How are you getting on with the car??? You like it??

Yeah it's not too bad! Nice and easy to work on, handles superbly! Not very powerful, but you seem to be able to throw it into corners at any speed.
Doesn't like the wet though, lol!

But awesome fun to drive for the money. I love them and sell shit loads, all year round! The Mk2s are cheap now as well! I've got a 51 plate here for £3999... wasn't long ago and it would have been nearer £6k
But like you said, cheap tyres on the back and they hate the wet!
Last 3 Mk1s I've had and sold:
No. 144 of 250 built to celebrate the launch of the MX5 in the UK. Had only done 40k miles!

This was only 70k miles, 1 owner, hard top etc. but was probably the worst one for rot I've ever had

I had this for about 4-5 years and wheeled it out in the summer. It ALWAYS started, NEVER went wrong, was an import with no history, was minty mint, cost fuck all to run and only cost me about £1000 all that time ago in p/ex on another car!!! I got double that back for it this summer just gone
Should never have sold it!
Next one I keep will be a yellow Mk2!
If you're going to look like a bender... may as well go the whole hog
They're dreadfully under powered
