Default alternator touching rad hose

hi, just wonderig if anyone has had a problem with this before. when releasing the clutch the engine is moving alot and is making the alternator touch and were through the bottom radiator hose.

Sounds like u need to have your engine/gearbox mountings checked

Had this problum on mine, fitted vibra technics engine mounts and go shorter belt from motor factors

same as mate!!just bort new mounts and a shorter belt.then i put a strong cable tie around the hose and pulled it away slightly

i had this problem, and resulted in a headgasket popping!

gearbox mount snapped, engine kicked, alternator pulley chewed straight thru the samco, coolant poured out, engine overheated before i knew what was happening, and headgasket failed.

worth sorting sooner rather than later, 1 simple rubber mount cost me a fairbit of cash, new hose, new HG, head skim, plenty of hours labour etc
