Spiky you may as well just bolt the engine straight to the chassis!

No. And the vibratech ones are noisey as fuck as well - stick with the standard ones.

You sure they are not fucked? There are plenty of cars on standard mounts that don't have a problem.

Edit to say maybe it's your dodgy shaped engine

don't know how the V6 is mounted, but on a normal cossie they are a peice of piss, just lift the engine up once you undone the nuts top and bottom of the mount and they come in an out dead easy 2 hrs at an absolute max

you no listen!!!! gen ford ones are total shit, my engine moves horrendously

dunno about a thumper jim but easiest way to change them on a 3 door is to support the engine with a trolley jack and undo the hangers from the block cos you cannot lift the engine high enough to get over the engine mount top thread even with the bell housing pressed against the transmission tunnel, well i did manage it like but i have an engine crane at the time, only afterwards the remove hanger method was recommended

Yep, that's how I did it. Unfortunately, I forgot to undo the opposite mount when jacking the engine up to change the fucked one, so now have one vibratechnics and one fucked ford mount
