I have a 1.8 zetec silver top bottom end for a zetec conversion but the bores are not salvageable. This block does not have a waterway next to the head oil feed. My question is are all 1.8 zetec silver tops like this or only some? If only some How do you identify them without removing the head. I have an silver top 2.0 zetec engine and that has a waterway but my friends block doesn't

I would have thought with all the wealth of knowledge out there someone would be able to tell me !!

 

I would look on zetecinside as he knows a lot about these.
