the viscous contains a fluid, you make this fluid thicker, the viscous gets tighter

you would need to remove it from the vehicle though, unless bernie from gearboxman will be able to sell you one already pumped up and you can get someone to fit it for you

if you are handy with the spanners it's not a massive job to remove the rear prop, remove the rear casing of the transfer box and swap the units over

as for pics, i did a thread a while ago about how to change the bits and bobs over, if you can find someone who can help you locate it it should all be pretty self explanatory

what will hapen if i weld the viscous cupling?

front diff would not handle it ??

if you were to weld it up, every time you went round a corner it would understeer into the scenery
