Default Lowering compression on s2 erst ?

Hi,

If I lower the compression on my s2 erst what else will I have to do to ensure it runs correctly, I have a piper 285T2 cam which I have been running on standard compression, will I have to alter anything to do with this ?

HI,

MAYBE A BIT MORE TURBO LAG NOTICED, DEPENDING ON TURBO USED AND C/RATIO, IF CHIPPED MAY NEED A CHIP FOR NEW CONDITIONS.IE TIMING AND
FUELLING.AND I EXPECT WITH LOWER COMP U WILL BE RUNNING MORE BOOST.
LIKE ANYTHING U CAN GO ON AND ON, IF LOTS OF BOOST USED U WILL NEED OTHER MODS TO ENGINE.I WOULD STICK TO ABOUT 15PSI, UNLESS U HAVE
FUELLING MODS DONE.
DAVE.

You lower the compression to enable higher boost levels. Higher than standard boost can be run on standard compression however, even more boost can be run safley when the compression is lowered

To increase the boost/air flow you want to be lookin at a hybrid turbo and also an increase in the ammount of fuel injected.
