i have a 1991 fiesta rst and its reving at 2k rpm could this b the idel valve control or sum else it started graduly revving a bit higher every few weeks now sits 2k all the time
any help would b appreciated

Yes it could be the ISCV or an air leak, more likely the iscv if happened gradually, try cleaning it out with carb cleaner.
