Default Stuff to do in Scotland - **SOME PICS UP NOW**

Well I''m leaving for Scotland in about 5 minutes, and I was wondering what there is to do? Dont even know where im staying yet, I know im going to Stranraer (sp) so somewhere not far from there. If i'm round ayr I could do with seeing AG Motorsport, so worked pretty well then (can someone PM me the address and a number please!!)
Working my way into cumbria after that and then heading back south, whats good to do then?

Dont know when i'll be back online so hopefully this will be full of useful info by the time I am

Laters

Steve

Scottish peeps are some of the nicest people you will meet - apart from Chop, StevenRW and Marty, who are wankers - so avoid them like the plague .

Heroin's quite a popular hobby here, if you don't fancy that you could always have a bottle of buckfast then stab a ned in a gang fight. Not much else to do apart from that though

I must admit there was a few people there that i met that were ok but i can hold my hands up and honestly say that in the 2 years of working there 99% of the people showed a dislike for th english. I even over heard a conversation between 2 blokes saying that it was a scot that invented the bike and the english laughted at the idea then stole it back in 1642 what a sad pair of twats lol. O and what about when england are playing another team and your all out in the opositions shirts and when they lost in the rugby the headline in the national paper was "another 1 the english can add to there list of defeats" and then went on for a 2 page spread of defeats the english have suffered going back to 1614, and thats 1 of the scottish national papers.

I used to think of myself as british and as 1 nation so to speak until i went to scotland.

Go to a decent club night at the Arches
Go to a gig at the Barras
(experience the Barras at a weekend in the daytime )
Go to a proper Glaswegian chip shop
Go offroading up the strip at Crail
Spin off at Knockhill
Do a top speed run on the M74
Get caught by speed camera vans on every main road north of Stirling

Haggis chasing is quite fun. You'll need to be sneaky though. The little buggers are fast and cunning.

Dumfries is nice, met a few fittuns when I had a day up there in the summer.

Your route for tomorrow, Fuck Stranraer, its an armpit

Hit the A712 through New Galloway to Newton Stewart, then the A714 to Girvan and follow the coast upto Ayr, go and have a brew at AG's place made by his bitch Carlo
From there A713 to Dalmellington, B741 to New Cummock, A76 to Cummock Netherthird, A70 through Muirkirk to Happendon, B7078 down to the A702 and then head for Thornhill and down the A76 to Dumfries.

I stayed over at the Rivendell on Edinburgh Road, proper nice gaff and an awesome breakfast http://www.rivendellbnb.co.uk/

Square sausage is awesome. And fruit pudding. Its been years since i've been to scotland but my gran used to make the best fry ups when we went to visit her. Forget the full english, full scottish is where it's at.
