I used to work for August Westlands where they make the Lynx, what a machine. Some serious tech on there that makes them do what they can do.

The apachie is a tool as well

You dont have to be mad to go in a chopper!! If the pilots mad then youll wear your dinner though!! I remember when on ships you used to be able to go on jollys with the helicopter sometimes and the wacko pilots would deliberately try and make you feel ill

There is a chap that does that at Westlands, he has to tes the fook out of them to make sure they wont brake... He is nuts, was on TV flinging the Lynx around the other day.

You can go up in them if you work for the company, but many dont as he is nuts. Most of them dont get painted before he takes them out lol. Will try get some snaps of some crazy shit he does next time

Always a apachi sitting out in the fields chilling down here, want to get one of the cosworth next to it, some chap has already done it with his saff, looked mean

My father in law was the lynx display pilot for the blue eagles in the late 80's, he then later flew the Northumbria police helicopter and after that was the chief pilot for the great north air ambulance
had loads of sicky trips with him and luckily had the controls of the police helicopter for a total of 5hrs when i used to jump in with him when it went down to staverton for a servicing
he works for me now as he has retired from flying due to being 60, really miss going up with him

Originally I wanted to do fixed, in the hope of getting a sponsorship into doing my Commercial, but the operators have cut down on the sponsorship so now been thinking of Helicopters as they are as cool as a penguins nutsack.

Not got the original photo to hand, so took a photo of the poster on his wall - the guy you mention is my friend Phill2400 from on here. His Saph and a Longbow Apache.

The wall poster looks awesome, and he's got the same pic on a calendar as well.
