i was thinking of getting my haircut so i may have a hairdryer going spare but seriously thats as bad as 4k,like Trist says they write them off for flood damage or is it just sea water because of the salt ?,saying that,it is a lot of water.looks like another one going to the grave and its not even bent.

Will be fine mate, its fresh water (if its just rain not salt river burst)
my father in law does salvage for insurance companys and I am always gutted to see some of the cars he gets through water damage. dry them out, if its filled engine plugs out and turn it over then oil change, but still end of the road for them.. gutted, hope you sort it.

Bloody unfortunate that Mark

Im over in Gibraltar at the moment, leaving today to come home, i know we've had a lot of rain over here but didnt think anywhere was flooded to that extent

The Rock hotel is having new carpets in the main restaurant area due to water damage at the moment, weve just had breakfast in the sun lounge

Is that just a local thing in Gibraltar about 3rd party only on 10yr+ old cars?

gutted for you

any car that has been sat in water that is deeper than the sills is only good for scrap imo u will never get it all out of the shell and the damage will have already started, plus i would think most of the electrics would be shot

I work in Gib - Marina Bay. Are you llanito or moved over here?

Hope you get the interior saved, if you get to it quick fingers crossed it will be alright. I've got a garage in Guadacorte but only for a month or so now so not much help, although if you want to store stuff like interior you're welcome to do so until I move.

Ah nice one, at least you're sorted for space then. Where did you get the 3dr from, UK also? Have you seen the black 3dr belongs to Diego, works at the Ford garage in La Linea iirc.
I work at Stan James not actually on the marina
