hi on low boost 6psi the car is fine, when i go on high boost 16psi anf floor it it misfires when comin on boost, but if im half throttle it is fine? any ideas.....

 

your car is blowing out the spark on the plugs smaller gap or new plugs.

i have had it set up by harvey gibbs mate, was running fine until yestreday new plugs etc

 

did it start having the problem after fog or rain
its gotta be worth seeing if you have an airleak
if plugs are fine remove leads and check and spray wd 40 over connection cant hurt it

well when i drove it on a friday it was fine
drove it on a saturday thats when it done it?

 

does sound like electrical side of things give leads and plugs ago but check for air leaks go over all the joins and checking tightness
if cam was worn it would of shown up slowly not ok one day and not the next, does it rattle a bit is the cam old can get very noisey after 20k or a lot less on a 285 t2 are tappets ok

when it pops and bangs on high boost does your rev cointer drop at all

 

presume it's an rst.
check the ht side of things, particularly the dizzy cap and rotor arm,
