its had full engine diagnostic done on a rolling road nothing showed up at all all working fine but missfiring and kangarooing when loading throttle up,
injecters have also been cleaned.the rolling road center said last thing to try is a new ecu as could be causing the problen or possiably a partialy callapased cat.please any help would apreciate it gota get this running right my repair bill allready stands at £200.lol.if i change the ecu what do i need exackly?please help at a complete loss now?

Rolling road sounds a crap one to be honest.
It would help if if you knew whether it was a particular cylinder, or just a general all over misfire affecting all four, what happens to the gasses when this happens as that is your first clue.
Collapsed cats cause a restriction NOT a misfire, but in any case would be clear as day from the emissions read out.
Is there any discharge around the base of the plugs for example, as bosch plugs are sods for suffering from corona discharge, had this on a few mondeo's, even with brand new bosch plugs, with a fail rate of 50% within 10 miles.
Fuel flow would be another thing to check, again would show up easily if gauge were connected.
Doesn't for one second sound like a ecu fault to me, and very unlikely.
I would also be looking for interference of the various sensors especially the cps, make sure the grounded end is nice and clean otherwise it can get inteference .

had the fuel checked the fuel pressure is low but not sure why rolling road center said everythings how should be but the car still bogs down and misfires when accelrating hard ecu only thing left to try really doing me head in

gonna sound stupid but howmuch fuel is in the car? i had this on my fiesta si and couldnt work out what was wrong with it! turns out i had a faulty fuel gauge (had not had the car long) so just above the rd was actually pretty much empty, the car would start and idle fine but miss under load or bliping the throttle, my guess would be some crap at the bottom of the tank was sticking to the filter on the pump, filled up with fuel no problems. may be worth a try just as if it doenst work its not like you wont end up using the fuel when its fixed.
oh and the RR centre youve taken it to sounds CRAP.
