Hi mates!!!!!

I´m looking for a New Garrett T3 turbo kit for my Standard Escort RS turbo S2 (will be chipped in a few months).

I have found this Brand New Kit:

Turbo spec - Wet Floating Bearing.

360 degree thrust bearing.

T3 Garrett.

Compressor A/R .42

Turbine A/R .48







The question is:

Will I get "lag" with this T3 in my RST??
Seems to have a bigger T3 housing and wastegate than Standard T3 I have fitted.........

You want a .48 really.. it's a good turbo to buy, by the spec.

Maybe this kit will be a good turbo, but my doubt is :

Will i get "lag"? I don´t want to get lag with new turbo.
Will I have problems on fitting due to size??

 

Yes, it will be laggier than a standard turbo.

 

i like a bit of lag..when the boost comes in it hits hard

 

i know pa_sjo likes them, but imo the 0.48 is laggy and should only be used if you want well over 210hp
