Radio one listeners?
Why? LOL
I listen to local radio station that plays tunes from the 70s through to now and mixes it up well. Almost gauranteed while at work 7:30 to 4:30 inc travelling that i only hear a song once.
Our plasterer has been on the job this week and listens to radio one. So we left our rad off and let him have that on....what a load of crap. I must have heard about 20 songs all day just repeated! And constant drivel in between!
Used to like radio 1 too!

looks like there was no stephen hawkings going on about the changing tracks time
but them spice girls absolutlty mullered whatever song they were singing just before the news, they were less in tune that a panio hitting the deck after a 40 foot drop

bits of it can be ok throughout the day, but on the whole its starting to bore the crap out of me

Radio 1 is a bag o wank, i listened Moyles 1 morning and there must have been 20minutes between songs at one point. Old or not i have Radio 2 on most of the day in my truck, Viking Fm is ok too if im over Humberside Way.
i have the following stations preset on the radio in the van
radio 1 - for the news at 12.45 (and comedy stephen hawkins moments from jo whiley for the changing tracks )
radio 2 - for when the other stations have adverts on and if it's late at night, mark and not lard are ok
lbc - for when vannesa feltz is on her high horse
kiss - most of the time in the morning and afternoons
capital - just because it's a 6th slot to fill in the presets
bbc london - traffic and travel bulietins throughout the day plus robert elms in the afternoon and danny baker
if i'm ever out of reach of these stations i've found that kiss is available in wales and in norfolk as well so that's fine with me
and radio 2 for johnathan ross on a saturday morning plus the comedy hour from 1pm

I thought it was bad enough hearing the same old tacky adverts but listening to R1? All they seem to do is talk a load of old bollocks in a monotonous drone tone - they sound so depressed!

it all depends what music your into really i think as radio 1 will play what they think is "hip" at the time. i do enjoy it sometimes as theres no adverts but it all depends who's presenting at the time. moyles is just a piss taker, his morning shows i like, jo whileys got a bit boring now, she tries to be too cool for school at times and she will never slate anyone, all bands are amazing bla bla bla. and scott mills does some good wind ups etc. it does get a lot better in the evenings when they do shows for certain genre's tho.
other than that i listen to virgin or whatever the fuck its called now LOL or XFM as im into my guitar bands and its what they play all day long! pure bliss
but in work i have to put capital on as i work with a gangsta rapper and we made a compromise as he wanted to put kiss on and id rather slit my wrist than listen to that garbage all day.

Radio 1 isnt as good as it used to be.Can anyone remember MARK and LARD. Now they used to be funny.Does the shed of dread and morris idol bring back memorys.There was also slim shaddy the squirel.I thought they used to be funny as fook.

Radio 1 is absolute shite stopped listening to it quite a few years ago !!!
Radio 2 plays a very varied mix and is usually very good, i was even on PopMaster on the Ken Bruce show on monday !!!!!

jo i love me whiley where everything on her show is the best ever with all the credit for everything going to herself for being so amazing in the first place gets right on my nerves. chris moyles with his gang of mates paid to laugh at his crap jokes just isnt funny. his jokes are often so drawn out and obvious that the punchline should be accompanied by a trumpet fanfare and flashing neon sign exclaiming "heres the punchline"
scott mills is quite funny but hes stuck with the same old shite music to play. it gets interesting when zane low comes on in the evening.

Mark and lard where fooking mint. Can u back of the mic a bit. A lad at work listensun galaxys radio and that is the shitest radio station i have ever listened to. If you lot think radio 1 is bad galaxy radio played the same song 5 times in 1 day. Its the same songs every bloody day. Then they have the old skool tunes which are the same ones every week.

Radio 1 is just another reason for the licence fee to be abolished.
Spending OUR money on what they think we want to listen to. Rock show is good when i catch it and Mills is brilliant. Always used to listen to pete tong or danny rampling bitd.
I listen to commercial stations and just flick between them and my cd when driving.
Everytime i put Radio 1 on it seems to have colin and edith on with a lot of mutual ass kissing!!
Used to love listening to the radio 1 roadshow in the summer holidays!
Sunday mornings with Vernon are good too he plays some cracking stuff for when i'm cleaning the car or something.

they'd get the 2 songs that they needed to play from the playlist out of the way at the start of the show and then jabber away, thre was the woodland tales with slim shady the squirrel, there was that contest where they took the piss out of the contestants, the guess what was going on after 3 clues game, stuff about the shire horses, it was immense
then they replaced it with some shit and i never really listened with intrestagain

i love radio one moyles and mills are brilliant but jo whillie is up her own arse ,and i like radio 2 with steve right and russel brand but local radio is shitewith all the adverts

People are banging on about adverts on loacal radio, but id sooner listen to them than the fucking crap radio one plays and all the bollock talking they do on it
One example is Fearne and Regis chart show! What a load of fucking dogshit that is! They talk absolute crap and dont even play all the songs now...they miss out songs to talk SHITE!
