a mate of mine is fitting (thinking about) a 2.5 v6 red top out of a cav into an astra but hes a bit baffed about what fly wheel/clutch to use?

any idear? also how can he free up some hps?

any info realy would be a help

 

no idea mate but a kid round here fitted one to a corsa!!!

thought it would be a v6 clutch assy with suited box?

 

o yea its an f28 box

^The f28 is the getrag 6 speed isnt it??
Wjy not use a cavalier/calibra turbo clutch and flywheel if hes usin the box that came with that car

 

As said mate visit www.mk3oc.com enough info on there mate...iirc many of the guys use an F28 converted to run 2WD as its a 4WD box used in a Cav Turbo etc.

 

Use the F20/F28 flywheel, its lighter than the V6 one anyway.

V6 into astra is very easy, been done loads of times

 

ollies got alot of plans clarke lol, he wants that 1.8 16v renault lump in your old volvo to drift with too lol, he's going to be busy for a while i think lol

 

my mate done it into his astra gte was a great laugh spining it up the road
