Any one had this?? Basically every now and then I get 20 or 30 of the same window open up in rapid succession, wether it be an email or other website. It's happened 4 times tonight - if I just leave it, internet explorer closes down and restarts.

It's starting to wind me up, and I cant find anything on google about it!!!

 

do you use MSN live? and does it have CiD on the top corner?

 

windows live messenger radders - cant see a CiD anywhere though

 

I occasionally get EXACTLY the same problem... but doesnt seem to have any relation to messenger as mine is rarely open!

But the only way i can stop mine is by restarting my laptop!

 

If I can close the windows quick enough it stops, but mostly it's too fast!!!

It doesn't seem to be just emails/messenger with me either maria. If I just leave it, internet explorer closes and then opens again - obviously losing any open webpages.

 

try this..

Start bar > Control Panel > Add/Remove

Then look for "Messenger plus or messenger plus and client" or something similar, or even "CiD Sponser"
