Default Easy way to remove handbrake cable?

Hi,
as in title, whats the easiest way to get the dam cable off the caliper for a 2wd sapphire. I always struggle so i must be doing it wrong

Get under the car and wind the adjuster back to allow the cable to slacken off, then unclip.

slacken it off way way back, you'll need about a foot worth of slack, it'll do the trick

you'll need a screwdriver to lever it back
