...they're removing the bone and replacing it with plastic one and fusing his 5,6,7th vertibra...............if they mess it up he could die or be on life support..........he hasn't just got a "bad neck"
what??!!?!?!?!?
i've got fused vertebrea in my back, my cousins got a metal plate holding 5 of his together
i'm sure they know what they are doing but "removing" the bone? what's going to hold his spinal colum together?

I think it was nuvasive that started out the plastic replacemnt thing......sounds similar to what Nate Quarry had done, he's back to 100% health now so it can definatly go well dude.

Dave has had that operation, one of the discs in his neck was crushing the spinal cord. So he had the disc removed and a carbon one put in.
It is a bit of a scary time, as we got told if the operation when wrong then it would be serious. But when you have a brain surgon telling you the percentage of that happening makes you feel a bit more at ease.
And Dave recovered 100%, He was working on YUM 3 weeks after his op
