Thinking of getting my standard 87 erst chipped. Ive seen a few chipped ecus around and just wondering would any fit (as long as from erst?). Ive noticed some have hearts & diamonds, others colours (think mine has black blue and red on mine) would i need to get the same colours on mine or would they all fit?

 

Also if i got a chipped ecu, will that automatically adjust the fueling to match the increased boost I planning. Planning on getting a -31 acutator, chipped ecu and setting boost at about 15-16psi. Everything standard at the mo but will get stainless exhaust & kn filter too.

 

if your car hasnt got a knock sensor you can use a s1 ecu or early s2 ecu, not sure about the colour codes but the one with the symbols is deffinatelty no good as its from 90 spec cars. the chip wont adjust the fueling, all it really does is increase the boost limit so you will need the car setup by a pro.

 

u want a s1 ecu blue red blue i think, they have no knock sensor bourd which are prone to breaking down
