Default just spent the afternoon doing a 'basic' detail

this is what took me an afternoon, my first detail which is prob classed as a basic one but still a lot of work.

i didnt take a pic of the wash so apologies.

My tools for the job

i used elite car car snow foam concentrate which i followed with a a mix of halfords car shampoo and elite snow form concentrate mix for the actual car wash process

i then clayed the car with megs quick clay and quick detailer - this made so much difference to the surface and took plenty of stubborn crap off the paint

here what i was left with and to show how bad the paint was

after the clay i washed and dried again and attacked the paint with some meg paint cleaner, heres a 50 50 of the bonnet

paint cleaner is the shit!! it took all the crap off the black burnt looking areas and cleaned the paint the stuff is amazing

next step was to polish the car but i didnt have any so i wased it with xymol and let it cure for 5 mins using the wax lightly

heres the end result which i was blooody amazed with

well worth it imo and i enjoyed it

sorry it wernt that much of a write up or pics it was my first time doing this.

give it a go

That looks really nice. I would do it to mine but it needs painting first...

Good job.

If that was mine i'd give it a good machine polish, that will make a huge difference
