Hi guys

I have a small turbo escort cosworth that is standard at the moment. I'd like to get more power without spending too much £££. Can I just bung on a boost control valve and hope for the best? If I took it to a tuner, what would they do to it to get say, 280bhp from it? and how much should I be paying to get it done?

I think these have the ford eec ecu don't they ?
If so I would speak to stu at MSD.

im in aberdeen too mate. what colour is your esco? dont see many about really!

a stage 1 chip and a map should see you at 280 bhp.

the limit on ST escorts is usually the ford management but i believe that st@motorsport developments can get round that now
