Which Turbo?!? Fiesta Cosworth
Hi,
Im pretty new here. I have a Fiesta Cosworth which was owned by a member on here which i have been upgrading.
My problem is that i found a problem with the turbo yesterday, the compressor blades are damaged. As far as i am aware its a T34 and a magnet wont stick to the end of the shaft on the inlet side. Would/could this be a group A one?
My big question is, should i get it rebuilt or buy a new one? Also if i was to get a new one, what type would be best.
Im unsure what housing sizes etc i should get. The car itself is RWD and very light at the back. I dont want lag and then sudden power which might whip the car around.
Any advice and recomendations would be great,
Thanks,
Shane

Thanks for the help.
So reconditioned turbo is nearly as good as a new one.
During the week it got 250bhp & 250jbfton 1bar boost.
What would a rebuilt T34 hybrid produce and at what boost. It has green injectors.
