Default Engine Convertion. 2.1 ZVH

Good Afternoon all.

Ok my question today is. What do i need for a 2.1 ZVH convertion.
AQA have no clue so here i am asking you clever guys and girlys.

My car is currently a bord out 1.8 with a T3 Turbo.
Current spec is 220running 12psi of boost.
All internal work has been carryed out. but now i wanna go big.

After Xmas im starting to build my 2.1 ENGINE.
Im fully clued up about what needs doing but hay, little adivce cant heart maybe ill find something out i didnt know.

So i here a mondo Bottem end is probly the storgest? Am i right in saying so. Im ganna run it on fordge pistions and rods. Fordge crank +balanced. And will need to upgrade the head. Vauvles ect.

Im also getting rid of the T3 turbo and going for eather. T4 or T34 hybird turbo deppedning on clearance of the rad.

Now heres where i get stuck. To run a massive BHP ill need a good ECU. which one?.

Then there is the option of a cossie management and the EFI management from the Fezzys. I know ill need the loom but which one? can i use the fezzy.

So advice. anyone?.

cossie or after market management, modded rear engine mount, modified exhuast manifold (if u use zetec head), efi cvh or 1800 escort inlet manifold (depending on head), 1800 escort sump, modified down pipe for t34/4, efi cvh fly wheel and a zvh kit (pully,dowls,head gasket etc about Ł350 from burtons) and efi cvh head or conversion plate

you'd be better off going full zetec rather than zvh if u dont already have a stage 3 head, there is a guide in fast ford not sure what one but was within last 3/4 months


and you'll prob want to look at up rateing the gearbox too

the gearbox is a LSD so that should hold?...

Well Ztec, wouldnt that be so much harder? stage 3 head is the plan

with the spec youre building your gearbox will last as long as you want, just dont start the engine up.lol it will defo need uprating

get i touch with powerconversions, they arealways happyto offer advice and also do a lot of these conversions

The MFI will be nearly maxed out as it is with your current set up so you will NEED new managment

well bluesqite Ecu has been recomened.
i might just send it off to be quite honist. Seams alot of messing. Sevs.co.uk will do me one for an ok price.
