they any good? i've been told they are. and how hard are the diy kits to fit? i got a mig welder and i can weld (kind of)

i found the fit wasnt too good on the multipoint weld in custom cage i had for my RS1600i, click the tyne bridge in my sig for more pics etc in my old resto thread

the cage may be good but at the end of the day its only as good as how good the welds are holding it together!

if you cant weld tidy then get someone else to wled it in and together as that way you know it will be up to the job!

i can weld, but i wouldt trust my welding for anything as structual / safety critical as a roll cage!

they are well rated by the amateur rally community, but the welds have to be good, or its about as usefull as chewing gum holding it on...
