I was told it would be 4 months, I wasn't sure as I need a car, realistically. Anyway, I liked the car a lot so decided to wait and bum a lift off friends from then onwards. However, one month on and I got a call to say it had arrived at the dealership. I'm not sure why it came so early, I was slightly confused as people on the Volvo forum have been waiting a lot longer than me, and have had phone calls to tell them of more delays.









The car is not to everyones taste, I happen to love it. I initially wanted Passion Red, however, Motability said non metallic colors don't sell so I couldn't have it. Never mind, I went with my second choice.

I collect it on Tuesday and I cannot wait.

the bumper has a blanking cap on the right hands side, its so begs for a twin exit lol

Looks good mate. I didnt like these at first but the more you look at them, the more they grow on you. Im not too keen on the graphics though.

 

You had to mention them didn't you. I wanted them and I am having them. Carbon roof is so last week. It has the 1.6 Zetec engine.

Twice a day if I can be bothered. I want to fit the bogus tail pipe because I dislike the plastic cover which shows there could be another tail pipe in it's place. However, you'll be glad to know I probably never will as I am too tight to pay for it.

I'd be guessing by the fact it's got the "flange" (for want of a better, or the right, word) at the back it's not meant to be a bogus part, but actually connected to the exhaust system (which will mean addtional pipework, and on the base models, probably fabrication of this pipework)



The part in the pic is probably a replacement tailpipe piece for the higher spec cars that have them as standard.....

 

As far as I am aware it is a bogus pipe and designed for that reason. It looks different inside the pipe.
