On my 3 door the red warnning light (one with a pic of the engine) keeps lighting up, when it does this ive got a relay clicking under the glovebox, sounds stupid does that mean it needs a new one?

 

Its a solenoid that clicks away in there - not sure which one though or what it does. Possibly a fuel one? I took all mine out and when I refitted them the problem dissapeared. Luckily it must have been a bad connection.

 

By solenoid I agree that I meant relay - mine did it again today!!! Quick fiddle and fixed again???

 

I have not had the same problem but I do remember one similar... sometimes a battery getting low / near the end of its life can trigger this (as does many other things... like the bad connection)
I would assume in both cases its a matter of having enough charge to hold the relay open...
