temp gauge stop working?

Default temp gauge stop working?

i was wrigglin my headlight relays as my lights were playin up, then wen i started the car, i sat in it while it warmed up a bit, n noticed my gauge hasnt moved all day since driving, does the temp gauge hav a relay or fuse? think i hav knocked sumart wen messin with the relays, any ideas cheeRs.

mine does this, mine has and earth that come lose form near the turbo on the engine mate, if that helps

take the wire off the sender on the head, its to the right of the exhaust manifold one single brown iirc wire on it. earth it out onto the engine with ignition on and get someone to check the guage goes up to max, if so then the sender is faulty so replace! they are penny's.

if it is the sender which it prob is

make sure you get a proper ford item

got one from a motor factors once and i had dodgy readings

cheers people, was the brown wire tht had cum off, on the manifold, works fine now =)

bk again, its jus sitting at max temp now wen car is running, where is the sender located, an wat does it look like cheers!

the sender is the thing that the wire plugs onto!

It screws into the block, and the brown wire attaches to it
