Just got off the phone to them and i paid £75 for the box and £60 installation fee...... Getting it fitted next Tuesday

I just said that i had been into the local Currys and they were doing that deal......could they match it or beat it???

The guy came back and said no problem, we will match it sir...

you allready have the dish and twin or quad lnb for sky plus?

 

I know....all they have to do is plug it in.

BUT it is still a good deal for £135 as i was going to buy a second hand HD box off e-bay but they all sell for about £130 and £10 delivery.......

So i get a BRAND NEW box for less........

Can you not purchase the box and plug it in your self ???

I have std sky, but twin cables installed in the house from the prvious owners, so want a +box, but fook paying them just to plug it in. Can you just plug them in yourself ?

Your ALL missing a usefull option here...

Your £60 install covers installation of the Sky+ box you already own, ANYWHERE in the house if you like. We moved it to teh bedroom.

 

You know Stu I did wonder about that! I had planned on speaking to the instalation guy about it though. How did you go about it then?

Smit will possibly be on later, I've promised myself that i'm gonna get the lounge finnished, im painting atm see.

 

Its part of the installation fee. That £60 covers any installation, including 2 boxes if required, so just call and make them aware of your plans and they can run the second set of cables into the second room of your choice.
