327 chevy v8 1965 corvette wild cam 11.1 bhp ?

Default 327 chevy v8 1965 corvette wild cam 11.1 bhp ?

i got an old 327 chevy v8 from a 1965 corvette cast heads 11.1 comp apparently, used to be run on 5 star and a wild cam. anyone know what sort of bhp/torque these make ?

Fair few versions of that engine, so depends on the whole of the mods etc.

But the 60s 327s wernt bad, depending on the heads/cam/manifolds/carb etc etc

Some were well over 350bhp/350lbft as standard, but there are plenty of versions and heads so hard to know if its a lightly hotted up 250bhp one thats shagged, or a mint top model modified to be even better.

not sure but dad used to run it in his grasstracker and somebody else had a 327 from a camaro and that was nowhere near as quick as the vette 327.

Actually, i had brain fade and somehow didnt spot Corvette

If its DEFFO a 327 Corvette lump from around then its something like 375bhp stock with the right manifolds etc i think, not bad!

deffo 327 60s corvette had an 850 double pumper and siamese headers. got new siamese headers on now but a 600 holley. only been run on test frame so far since i rebuilt it. getting bit of water in sump but i think its just inlet manifold leak as there a bastard to seal.
