Default Any tattooists on here!!!!!!!! (i need some advice)

I have a tattoo that really dont like very much and want it either reworking or something done to it.....
i have been told that my best option is to get it lasered off but it would cost fortunes and was hoping that someone on here might be either a tattooist who could take a look at it for me or someone with good artistic skills who could maybe look at it and think...'oh you could have it like this'...i was thinking of just putting some brightly coloured flowers round it and add loads of colour....

Please no stupid comments cos i already know how bad it looks lol

Thanks Fiona

Default Coverups

Hi there, I had an awful tattoo done, it was almost solid black and most of the tattoo artists (including a famous tattooist for the UK) said there wasnt much to be done. In the end I flew out to Philadelphia to see a chap called Tim Victim. He produced what I can only describe as a miracle. Take a look at his coverups

http://www.timvictim.com/

My coverup (which was done in two parts can be seen here

http://www.timvictim.com/gallery/det...p?image_id=140

and

http://www.timvictim.com/gallery/det...p?image_id=141

His work is truly incredible and most tattoo artists said it couldnt be done. The moral of the story is dont go jumping at the first possible solution. Take you time or you could end up with something thats only a compromise and you wont be happy with in the long term either.

For me laser removal is NOT an option. Its very expensive, can leave scars and doesnt always get rid of all the ink. Save the money and go see Tim

Its the colour, it think which is causing the problem, I would have it made black with some shading. It will look much better

I hope he didnt do that one on your arm because the only award that will win is 'Shit Tattoo of the Week'

And talk about business creation, do a shit tattoo on someone and then offer to take it off.

You could get a really nice feminine cover up done, there are loads of really good artists out there who could sort that with something really quite special.

Good Luck and let us see the re-work !

There is a local tattoo artist called Barry K who does a few cover ups and laser removal. He works with people to create a design they like and then only recommends laser treatment on the sections that wouldnt be fully covered by the new design.

Might be worth looking at that as an option.

Alternatively, go to a well known tattoo studio with a good reputation (a guy I know is going to Nikole Lowe's studio down in London to get his done) to see what coverup they could do.
