Exclamation brake hoses on saph cosworth 4x4

Hi
has any one got photo,s of the standard brake setup on cossie 4x4 . I would like to know how the front flexible hose are mounted and how long they are.

I have put cosworth front brakes, hubs and shafts and 7x15s on my xr4x4 and the brake hoses are touching the wheels when turning on full lock

Are the hose shorter than the xr or is there a different pipe layout

Thanks
Dave

I bet thats because the XR4x4 rack allows more turn than the cossie one which is restricted slightly - its the same ratio but slightly less turns lock to lock. You may also find that there is a grinding noise on full lock for the same reason. When I did this conversion I used braided hoses which are a bit longer.

Some braided kits use two shorter lengths and some use 1 long length that goes from inner wing to body, these ones just need securing to the strut with cable ties to stop rubbing anywhere.
