My mate has got a 1.8 zetec focus on an x reg,he says its got a horrible smell coming from air vents sometimes whether they are on or not, anyone know what could be causing this smell?

 

change teh pollen filter and run some antibac stuff thru (if its got aircon)

any chance it was floodeded out?

carpets etc come out easy but nobody will bother to take the dash out to fish out the floaters after a flood

we have a few flood cars come thru our place, they stink like fuck

It might be the cold/hot air blowing on his sweating pits thats giving off the smell

 

Yea ive told him try washing his feet.

 

he could have run over a cat and it stuck to the down pipe..smells coming tho the vents
