Can anyone indentify each loom i.e. 3 door or Sapphy ?

As they don't plug straight into each other can you advise which wires I should connect together ??

Interior Loom



Black/Red
Red/Blue
Brown/White
Green

Engine Loom



2 x Black
Green
Brown/White
Black/Red

There are I found a lot of differences between looms even on the same year, some have the temp GAUGE/Oil Light wires as part of the car harness, some don't.
Basically all you need to do is a little probing, and you will come up with the following,
thin green = tacho
red/blue = permanent live
black = switched live(ignition switch)
black/red = fuel pump
brown/white = temperature GAUGE
brown/red = air con(relay switch), NOT always fitted.
Additionally the, the temp gauge wire can change colours a lot, ie 4wd is never the same as 2wd.
Best thing to do is to probe so as to determine EXACTLY what wire does what on your loom end plug to start with, all easy after that.
I cannot gaurantee accuracy as ford is all over the place, but where there are four wires in other loom you are trying to join ignore the temp gauge and air con coulours as a rule.
