Nope. They are different. I think you can use the inner wing, but not the chassis leg.

I know when we rebuilt a S1 a couple of years ago, we got our hands on a new chassis-leg complete from Fords and had to cut a bit off as it was no use.

If you look in this thread:
https://passionford.com/forum/showth...ght=philbotley

you should find all you are after.

If you are getting into a resto. or rebuild that deep, I may be able to help you out with some jig-sheets for reference purposes.

The jig sheets will not tell you the differences, but will give you all the alignment points that you WILL need to align it up afterwards. If you do not, then it most likely will not be straight in all directions and will have issues afterwards.

If you look @ the thread I directed to in the above post, you can see that the chassis leg itself was retained as it was incompatible, but the top inner wing was replaced using a S2 version.

The difference is where the front of the member meets the front panel and crossmember. If I remember correctly, the cutout is different @ the end.

Sorry to sound off, but no matter how many times you ask the same question in a different form, it will always be "the bottom section is different".

Sorry, in a better mood today (should have stepped away from the keyboard last night methinks )

Yep, as long as the chassis leg and inner wing is the later single-bolt job it should fit fine.
