grinding noise on left hand bends
ive got a very odd problem with my mk4 escy.
drivers side front wheel around left handers is making a grinding noise.
but i cant see any rubbing anywhere and everything seems to clear fine.
its continous noise even over bumps.
it even does it on half lock so its not rubbing.
i thought it was the wheel bearing but i changed that yesterday and its still the same, happens at slow speeds too.
i even thought the disc was rubbing on the caliper so fitted another slim spacer but its no different!!
im stuck 4 ideas unless its the drive shaft somehow only making noise on left handers?

Have you checked the TCA is not catching the inside lip of the brake disc? Quite common with aftermarket brake set ups and none genuine ford TCA's. The head of the TCA tends to be a fair bit bigger on pattern parts.
