Someone with a sykes code reader should be able to sort you out as thats what we use, mayby a local garage has one?.Was the clock spring unit put back on in same position and not spun?
Sometimes disconecting battery for 10 mins will let airbag system discharge and re-set itself.

The unit just under the wheel that turns with the wheel,it has a spring used as wiring inside it.They can be spun and then when you put new wheel on and turn full lock can break and cause light to stay on.Not sure if your car uses same system though bud.
