How easy to change a rocker cover gasket?
Bought one off eBay, not sure if I can be arsed taking it to my mechanic, or fitting it myself? Is it a piece of piss to do??
It's one of those steel & rubber ones. I bought half moons too.

sounds like you got a cometic jobby...good lad! Yeah dead easy to do, only thing, put a small blob of silicon sealant in the corners where the half moons meet up with the gasket.
Just to add put a thin smear under each front cap as well, as they leak here, and trim the gasket where it butts up against the caps,to make sure the hole is perfectly in line before applying half moon gasket sealant, I use gasket just dabbed on the recess the half moons sit in just to hold them there.
As said sounds like a COMETIC these are reuseable FOAM ALLOY.

easy job to do; you might have to undo the water feed pipe to the turbo as from memory its easier to get the cam cover off and on again.
dont over tighten the cam cover studs either; i think its 18nm from memory
