i have changed rotor arm plugs gapped them to pont 6 and put new dizzy on have a group a coil, RS was set up by jamsport 4 weeks ago was finr when left there but last sunday on light throttle it started to misfire

 

car was set up on v power, i put in ultimate when it started to mis maybe this is the problem they are different octane

 

mine did that mate.had my orange s2 set up at jamsport on vpower fuel,but if i used any different fuel it played up and the ignition pinked like fuck mate

 

how do you mean ignition pinked like fuck? did it run fine when you put v power back in it?

 

when it came on boost u could hear a cracking noise from igniton.once it was back on v power it was fine after 20 miles or so mate.wot power u running mate?

 

200 cant remember the actual figure, has a stage 2 turbo with dash 31 on it.

 

i know it aint no rst but my old man had a 1.3 with bosch dizzy and that misfired through the dizzy spindle it was a faulty new unit it took ages to suss
just a thought

 

put v power back in done 80 miles still doing it a bit, could it be the fuel injection fuse, maybe runnin rich, but like said been set up though
i have a high lift cam will this make a dfference?

 

what cam is it and how old is it

 

im now thinkin it could be cam
not sure what make or how old, prob a shitty ford one
