Sorry to hear this mate - bloody pikeys Trouble is you're surrounded by them there with the Thislebrook site in Thamesmead and that one by the railway bridge at the bottom of University way.

Was it parked in the street and any ideas how they took it? Did it have disc lock etc?

 

It will be crushed in Mayer Perrys or down on the marshes by now. There has been a lot of cars going missing in that area in the last year.

Even my old Granada estate (good condition with a "special" bit of running gear) went missing during the day in full view of everyone. They simply ignored the alarm, immobiliser, disclok and everything else and dragged it onto a low-loader with the alarm screaming. Were gone within 30 seconds and I have been reliably informed that ended up in a certain breakers yard down on the marshes in their crusher within 2 hours.

Unfortunately, metal is worth so much ATM, they will simply remove the interior, drain the oil (if they are feeling generous) and crush it complete down there.

Not what you wanted to hear, but I do know a couple of blokes in the breakers yards down that way (I only live 3 miles from there) and it has become common-place.

 

I used to live in Mottingham so not far from Erith and two pikeys turned up in a low loader and were going to have it off the driveway until my neighbour asked what the fuck they were doing. They threatened him and cleared off but it would have gone if it wasn't for him. Top bloke

I'll keep my eyes peeled as I always notice a cossie, especially another moonstone with the same wheels as mine.

Hope you don't mind me asking but what were the circumstances of it going? Off the drive etc or parking in the street and was it disc locked up etc? Only ask as I'm paranoid about loosing mine.
