Question Whos slammed MK2 Golf is it?

While cruising back from Ford Fair on sunday, I took a pick of this MK2 Golf.

Looked mint... Anyone know who it belongs too...? Was taken on M6 North bound I think...

We then dropped into the slow lane and they took a pic of Stundies Escort Cossie

Don't matter what it is really... Just looked tidy and slammed How a Golf should be, Took a pic and give him the thumbs up, next thing you know, he over took us and from knowhere his passenger pulled a camera out... We respected his motor, and he respected Si's motor. Thats what its all about, makes it worth it...There was no racing, just cruised on by...
Hope the on the move pic of Si's Cossie come out well.

Cheers for the detective work

I think the point is "bothered", as its a nice car, but there are hundreds of Golfs similar.

Not exactly imaginative. A low Golf on common as much wheels. Oh Lordy.

You don't see them everywhere in this condition anymore though. . . No different to every Cossie and RST owner really...
Anything different is classed as Chav pretty much... The DUB lads know how to do it though, keep the bodywork smooth and slammed. Ronal Turbo rims are my choice for a MK1 or MK2...

My old MK1 1300 driver

Was sold to some lad up Newcastle way, He had a 20v turbo lump waiting to go in...

exactly that mate.

either look the same, or someone tries to be different and fucks it up.

BUT in the VW scene there are LOTS of mega mega nice VWs with some imagination put in to them, not just the sterotype mods like this one.

hey guys cheers to some of you for the comments, thought id drop by an say cheers for the pic an the cossie looked v v tidy.

An yes i know its rolling low on ronal turbos, I brought it with the wheels and sorted the coilovers this spring. Currently on the look out for a new set of wheels as i too think the turbos are way way over done in the dub scene. some of the other mods include smoked lights all round, smooth grill, de-wipered rear. It got brought as a run about not a show car (how things soon start to change) Future plans now include 1.8turbo in approx the 280bhp mark, new interior an a respray.
Most of you probs dont even care but jus a lil info to the few who do

Unfortunately standard size apart from EBC Red Stuff and grooved discs, not runnin huge power so no urgency to uprate them although I agree they do look small and maybe my next purchase should be a big brake conversion

It still looks like a real nice tidy car regardless of wether it's got "stereotype mods" or not, i agree that there are lots of really nice vw's around with original mods that make them stand out from the crowd but there's nothing wrong with tried and tested mods that you know are going to look good either is there??
Seriously, if you've got nothing positive to say then why bother replying??
