It has always been the ruling, but Since about 18-20 months ago after Stu received complaints from people that younger family members were logging onto the net (and as some people have PF as their home page) were being welcomed to thread titles such as "Anal Fisting" "Fucking Whores" "Who fucking did it?" and other such nicities, the Admin team decided to strictly enforce the rule
Not exactly what you want your kids to be reading is it when they log onto PF and see thread titles like those.

i've seen plenty of threads with swearing in the titles that have been edited over the past fwe weeks
but i suppose that the first mod who mods it can do either of the things mentioned so
lets start it again then with the rude words edited out of the title

Regarding 2b.
Who decided that particular wording?
"due to it being a generally accepted part of the everyday English language in use today".
I do swear, I must admit much less here in Germany than in UK. I did not know that swearing was generally accepted. I certainly would never swear in front of my Mum, my Dad maybe, I have never heard my Mum swear. In the small community where I used to live people did not swear very often.
It must be said, PF is very bad for swearing, it doesn't really bother me, it's just noticeable.

Kenny.

some people swear a lot
some don't
normally swearing tends to be the reslut of not being articulate enough to put your point across without using foul language, but when you've just bashed your thumb with a hammer "that's smarts a tad" isn't anywhere near as satisfiying as shouting "holy fuck!!!!!!! that hurts like a mother" etc etc!!!

A) Moved to a more suitable room.
B) Edited.
C) Totally deleted.
Entirely at the webteams discretion.
So A or B wasnt an option for you then??
I know and you do, it would of taken as much time to edit or move to a more appropiate room as to delete the thread.
