Default A positive tuner post...

after all the shit flying around these days about tuners I took my car last week to Streetracers for a few jobs to be done namely...

air con removed
intercooler fitted
front disks balanced
slight oil leak on undertray

intercooler has been sorted, I was advised while it was off to check cambelt which transpired that the bottom bolt was lose (whatever that is I maybe wrong on terminology) and i was a lucky boy I was then advised that the oil leak was probably from the gearbox but they would look at it next time I brought it in as it wasn't major and Ford Fair was loomin.

next they removed my front disks and the courier didn't turn up as expected and they advised fitting them back to the car for Ford Fair and they would come to my house put the car on axle stands and send them off to be balanced and then refit them on their return

and for me as a non technical person this is fantastic no bullshit, took on board the car was required for ford fair, no excuses, and working now with the car on the dyno after fitting the dyno....

good to know there are other people who wont rip customers off.

yes, without a doubt, praise when its deserved but i dont see much of a point in praising someone for just doing the job theyve been paid to do? should we all post up threads of every transaction we do? or save it for the above and beyond the call of duty and for the rip off merchants?

I get your point fuzzy but the reason for my post was that although a few things didn't go according to plan namely the tosspot courier not turning up Streeracers still ensured that the car was ready for Ford Fair and you may have not noticed but the car was mapped on the dyno at 10:30pm ish on a friday evening so that I could collect it Sat morning ready for Ford Fair on Sunday that in my book was worth a thank you
