Ps

If that is allowed in time attack this year and AG isnt, there is something very long as those arches are clearly tubbed, and the suspension is nothing like original anymore

That is kind of shocking really when you think about it

0-150 in 8 on road tyres is ridiculous

That thing is absolutely mental !!

Hope they do let it into Tima Attack & then Andy G's Focus is allowed to enter too !!

With those times that car acheived in it's previous incarnation shows jus how quick, competative & powerful Martin's Escort really is !! 201.42 mph for a 900hp Evo & 200 or was it 201 mph for Martin's Escort !!

AH, I'd actually forgotten about those.

No mate!

Didnt realise that at all, thought he was still ruled out on chassis issues.

Is he going for it then?

would be ace to see the focus out there with the bogey, as I reckon that with AG versus Simon at the wheel, the focus would win.

I guess Norris and Andy could both be in the prototype? class and not competing directly with the likes of RCMS, zen and RC developments etc.

Suprised Si Norris would build a car he can not compete in directly but at least it is purposeful.

I mailed Andy personally and asked him if he could make KH at the time he was committed to another event, Glen spoke with him and said the offer was there for any event and to keep in touch. I’m aware of many cars being built the same way as Andy’s and the organisers of TA know this and want to incorporate such amazing creations into a class

I recall Simon admitting that he is not the best driver but being as he pays for the car himself why would he let anybody else drive it that would be faster, same reason he wont put a Pro driver in it at Time Attack were possibly it would do better,

Can't knock the guy for that, it has the power and experience put into building it

I wouldn't bank on Ollie running next year. Word is the customer cars will be out next year, but who knows after the success Matt and Ollie have had.

Mike, agreed, i can't understand why RC do that, spend all that money on there car and have it driven by someone else, ok i guess it's for results obviously, but i'd almost feel a fake if someone did a 11sec quarter in my car and it wasn't me that achieved it if you get me?? how could you gain bragging rights then so to speak...

If a car covered in RC stickers win, people spend money with RC, irrelevant of who is driving, its a business decision.

Awesome looking car , is it the skyline gearbox thats in it now?

Think andrew had a race on at croft the day time attack was on but he did get invited , im sure there is a class for modified cars now or talk of it happening.

That's not the point we're making Chip is it?? i've said above if you read i can understand it from a RESULTS point of view, BUT understand where Mike is coming from about driving your own car you've thrown many hours and money into, EVEN if you're not the best driver out there..

I see what you're saying too..
