Thats true, but its a bit more than an Anti-roll bar.

The S1 had far better suspension that the S2 and the S2 was simply a road-car, where the road-going S1 was derived from a competition car.

I have a mint S1 front suspension set-up that I will be selling soon.

No, I'm keeping that now. Have re-engineered my car to allow fitting of the MTX gearbox without having to have the S1 suspension. There's not alot of difference, but I'd rather stick with what I know.

Alright mate......

I did mine last year, the roll bar and mounts looked rough. But I took them to North East Powder Coating in Washington. They blasted them down and re-coated them and they came up like new! Might be a bit easier to do it like that?!?!?

Hope this helps!

And then there's the RS1600i setup that is much better than the S1 setup. The last time I asked, the roll-bars were were nicely priced at Ford as spares (~40£). The rear 16mm ARB was no longer available though. The 24mm front on might still be available.
I got a 20mm rear ARB made up at a local spring factory and it was only ~70£.
