steering column bush 2wd
DITTO "I need to know this to" I'm doing mine next week, I think it's probably a case of undoing the clamp bolt by the rubber damper and popping the old rubber bush and bearing out from the bulk-head and sliding it off the shaft, (could be wrong though)
got my bush kit from fords about Ł3.98 2 plastic parts a rubber boot and a clip gonna have a go the weekend.
just fitted me bush took about a hour could do it quicker next time,
just undo the 10mm on the steering under the bonnett its near the exhaust be carefull you aint just got back from work as i did and got a few burn marks on me arms,
then remove the silver cap and then you can tap it from inside by the carpet plenty of wd to make it slide easy, remember which way it come out then you can remove the rubber boot, tap the circlip and the bush back on the column and tap it so it goes back inthe car,fit the rubber boot in the bulkhead plenty of wd then push the bush into the rubber bootand then tap the circlip down, and dont forget to do up ya 10mm,
going to try it now see if the wobbles gone
