Question Saph Cossie 4x4 water pump

Has anyone ever successfully repaired a Cossie 4x4 water pump. Mine started leaking around the bearing bush when I assembled the car after bending 16 little capped rods when a rubber belt stripped its teeth. Maybe there's someone out there using a good used pump as for a paper weight? Help someone, I'm from South Africa and there's very little help here.

Not sure if you can fix them mate, probably better of just getting a new one, especially if your considering buying a 2nd hand one that has been lying around for a bit. Mine was ok, but the car was off the road for 2 years and when i had it all back together the pump leaked like sieve as the seals had all dried out.

Default saph cos 4x4 water pump

Thanks for responding Rog. Found engineering works willing to give it a go even if it means sawing off the spindle, fit new bearing plus bush and reweld. I'm desperate for transport so either he does it or I give it a go. Cheers, keep well.
