I was at Farnborough for the airshow so I thought I'd share a few of my pictures. The poor light due to cloud cover has ruined a few of the photos of the lancaster & spitfire display
If I find something worth posting from that I'll add it later.
The A380 was there again

And it was being chucked around again
I still can't believe that such a large & heavy plane can handle like that.

then it was the Eurofighters turn
I like this alot!

Then the red arrows arrived.

I can't remember what these were called but they put on a really good display.

Then the Vulcan took to the skies
This thing is huge and the noise it makes is amazing.

I really liked this old plane and it was also thrown around alot.

I think this was the Catalina

And finally the red arrows display.

Sorry if I got any of the names wrong, I'm not really into planes and I don't have access to the program at the moment.

I was there yesterday aswell, Loved it....
I do have a soft spot for planes, Don't know why, they just fascinate me.
The 'old plane' is a DC-6, belongs to Air Atlantic but in the British Eagle colours.
The little display team, are Extras, and that sea plane is a Catalina

Gutted you got the Vulcan. Went to Waddington on the Sunday...it had electrical faults so couldnt fly....but it did an "abandoned take off" wish Id of gone on the saturday to see it fly with the Lancaster.
Very nice pictures there...The eurofighter is bloomin great fun to watch...At Waddington they had this French "Mirage" and that was spectacular too!

You are lucky living in Farnborough. Not only is it a nice area but you get to avoid the traffic
I was lucky enough to borrow a mates driveway this year & get a taxi in and out. It was much easier than using that awful carpark they lay on, last time it took me an hour just to exit the car park! taxi is much easier.
