The fuelpump has a relay but don't know where on a RHD car. I think it's in the little black box in the motor compartment or near the ecu.

id imagine so, ive never seen a 3dr engine loom, but safs are behind the glove box and is a yellow relay on the engine loom

3dr id imagine would be similar and be on the engine loom

look for a thick black with red trace wire as thats the fuel pump wire

yes one is ignition and the other is the fuel relay. They should work both if you turn the key.

RIGHT then thanks to your help iv just sorted it. when we got the car we had to do a hot wire to the pump to get it to run but that was no serprice to us as all the wiring was shit . so out with the old and in with the new but we are using the old motor loom BUT i did have the sens to send it down to RYAN at CAR LOOMS UK and he went over it and sorted it all out for me . when you lot were telling were to look i rememberd RYAN saying to me that i had got to run a live wire to a plug wich i have done but still no working pump so i put a probe on the wires and got it to work so now wots rong . then i fort it must be controld from the ECU and the ECU i was trying was the the one that come with the car so i got my spair put it on and i now have a pump that works . sothe problem was a + wire and a FUCKED ECU

I remember the first time I built a 3dr from scratch and came up against a lot of the issues you are finding. The internet was not around then so it was a lot harder to find out the answers, but building your own car this way is a great way to know all the ins and outs of the car for the future
