hi guys,

anyone come across a fault on an x5.comes up on dash as self levelling suspension inop.was told it came on after it had been jump stated as battery had gone low.

i was told to disconnect battery and reconnect it-no different.

the suspension hasnt dropped or anything and it drives great-just this annoying fault code.


any pointers?

 

jump starting X5's or 7 series dont go very well for some reason!

sounds to me like you might need to get it plugged in to have it switched off?

 

i think so too....

ive tried my snap on scanner on it but it doesnt read suspension faults....looks like its the dealers-ouch!

 

Take it to a dealer.

 

for the airbag light i bought a tool off ebay, maybe you could get the same thing for suspension?
